= 3 (a² + 4b² - 4ab)

= 3 {(a)² + (2b)² - 2.a.2b}

= 3 (a - 2b)²

= 3 (a - 2b) (a - 2b)

here,

take 3 common

3(a² + 4b² - 4ab) ...........(1)

now,

a ² + (2b)² - 2 (a) (2b)

= (a - 2b )²

using, (x - y)² = x² -2xy + y²

thus, equation (1) becomes

3(a-2b)² = 3 (a-2b) (a-2b) . hence,proved.
