The HCF of two numbers is 6

The LCM of two numbers is 36

Let the numbers be a and b

According to question

(a×b) = HCF×LCM

HERE a = 18 , Hcf = 6 , LCM = 36

WE have to find b

18×b = 6×36

b= 6× 36/18

b = 12

Therefore answer: - The other number is 12
