c^2 - d^2 = ( c + d) ( c - d)

c^2 - cd = c ( c - d)

HCF of (c^2 - d^2), (c^2 - cd) = ( c - d)

Given Equation is c^2 - d^2

It is in the form of a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)

= > (c + d)(c - d)

Given Equation is c^2 - cd

= > c(c - d)

Common factors of c^2 - d^2, c^2 - cd = (c - d).

Therefore, HCF(c^2 - d^2, c^2 - cd) = (c - d).

Hope this helps!
