let say current age of boy = 2B years

average age of father and boy = (40 +2B)/2 = 20+ B years

average age of mother and boy = (30+2B)/2 = 15 + B years

20+ B = (15+B) ( 1 + 25/100)

=> 20 + B = (15 + B) (5/4)

=> 80 + 4B = 75 + 5B

=> B = 5

Age of Boy = 2B = 10 years
