Adjectives are the part of speech which are used to qualify or modify a noun or pronoun.

There are three degrees in the adjective that are a positive degree, comparative degree, and superlative degree. Positive degree being the base form of comparison. It is not in comparison with the comparative and superlative degree.

For instance, in the above sentence adjective used is 'better' which is the comparative degree of an adjective. The positive degree of 'better' is good/well and superlative degree is 'best'.

Therefore, when the above sentence is turned into a positive degree it would be written as:

He knows you well.
