let the age ratio be 6x and 4x.
A.T.Q
 \frac{6x - 5}{4x - 5}  = \frac{5}{3}
3(6x - 5) = 5(4x - 5)
18x - 15 = 20x - 25
 - 15 + 25 = 20x - 18x
10 = 2x
 \frac{10}{2}  = x
x = 5
the ages will be 6x=6*5=30years
4x=4*5=20years

Answer-

age of A= 30 and B= 20

Explanation—

A:B=6:4

A=3B/2

A-5:B-5=5:3

(3B/2–5):B-5=5:3

=>3*(3B/2–5)=5*(B-5)

Multiply by 2 both sides

=>9B-30=10B-50

=>B=20

A=3*20/2=30

Present age of A=30

Present age of B=20
