(d) Vir Narayan was the son of Dalpat Shah and Rani Durgawati.

Vir Narayan was from Chattisgarh. He was the son of Dalpat Shah and Rani Durgawati and the grandson of Deewan of Sonakhan. He was a landlord who was martyred India's freedom struggle. He belonged to the Gond tribe. He was arrested by the British on the pretext of looting grains and distributing them among the needy during the famine. He later escaped jail and managed to raise an army to fight the British. The British overpowered and outnumbered his army and they had to face defeat. He was martyred in this war. He is still respected among the masses and there are schools and a cricket stadium named after him.
