while the day temperature is high nights are cool and pleasant. the land is still moist. owing to the conditions of high temperature and humidity the weather becomes rather oppressive during day and is commonly known as October heat. if you find this answer useful please mark it as brainliest

The heat is unbearable in summers because the rains cause high humidity. Due to high humidity in air, the sweat doesn't evaporate making the heat unbearable .
