Heat energy is absorbed during the transformation of ice in to water and water in to vapours
(Pls give explaination properly and it should be of at least 3 to 4 lines not too big and whoever will give the correct answer I will mark him as brainlist)

ice below its freezing point trap heat from surrounding to melt and hence get converted into water i.e. liquid state . The boiling point of water is 100° C water absorb heat to get vaporize and evaporate i.e. Gaseous form
