Heat flows from hot objects to cooler objects. Explain this statement and provide an example.

to maintain the equilibrium in temperature differences.... as hot objects have heat present... they thus have kinetic energy... and hence transfer it to the region around.... and get cooler.... this in turn creates a common temperature around the object
