when ferrous sulphate crystals are heated the following reaction takes place

2 f e s o4 = fe2o3 +So2 + So3

if heated FeSO4.7h2o will lose 7h2o further heating will lead to FeSO4 to givr product as Fe2O3 SO2 and SO3
