Hi friend,
We know that
H=V²R/t
H.α v²/t
V²1/t1 = v²2/t2
(220)²/5=(110)²/10n
4/1 =1/2n
n=1/8.
Hope this helped you a little!!!

We know , H=V²t/R
Given , V1=220v.
V2=110v.
t1=5m.
t2=10n.
H1 = H2.
The amount of heat required to heat the same amount of water will be same.
The resistance will also be same.
V1^2*t1/R1=V2^2*t2/R2
=R1=R2.
So,
220^2*5m=110^2*10n
=4840*5m=1210*10n.
n=4840/1210*5/10
=4*1/2
=2 minutes.
The value of n =2.
