Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata(29th July 1904-29th November 1993)was a French-born Indian aviator & business tycoon.He was the chairman of Tata sons.He became first licenced pilot in 1929.

The late Mr J.R.D. Tata was the first licensed commercial Indian pilot. He went on to head many companies of the famous Tata group.
