Heena has only Rs 2 and rs 5 coins in her purse. If in all she has 80coins in her purse amounting to rs 232, find the number of rs 5 coins

Let the number of Rs 2 coins be x
So, Number of Rs 5 coins = ( 80 - x)

So, amount = 2x and
5 ( 80 - x )
= 400 - 5x

So,
2x + 400 - 5x = 232
400 - 3x = 232
- 3x = 232 - 400
- 3x = - 168
X = - 168 / - 3
X = 56

So, number of Rs 5 coins = ( 80 - 56)
= 24

And, number of Rs 2 coins = 56

As total number of coins is 80
So, no. of Rs 5 coins =80-x
Face value of Rs2 coin =2x
Face value of Rs5 coin =5(80-x)=400-5x
Face value of both coin =232
ATQ => 2x+400-5x=232
=>-3x+400=232
=>-3x=232-400
=>-3x=-168
=>x=-168/-3
=>x=56
So no. of Rs 5 =80-56=24 coins (answer)
