Hi friend,

You must first clarify your own thinking about how to provide story information.

Choose a story that illustrates some topic or theme.

You must use character points of view to tell the story. Remember First person and third person are most commonly used as they provide lasting reader satisfaction but Second person does not.You must manage the POVs well or else it will cause the reader to unnecessarily question the character’s credibility. You must be aware of the subtle and complex layers of point of view so that you can use pov effectively.

Don't switch perspectives throughout the story.

Make sure your theme is clearly illustrated in the story.

Your writing should develop first interesting, three-dimensional characters, describe scenes and settings, and move through a plot. The first paragraph is critical to setting up a good story.

It can begin with like the main character encountering conflict and obstructions while moving through life. The conflicts tend to increase to a crisis point, then resolve. In the end, the loose ends are tied as the action falls to the end or climax. In short, narratives have a beginning, middle, and end.

Maintain a chronological order.

Use vivid details. But don’t describe each and every one of your own movements. Let the reader use their imagination to fill in the gaps sometimes.A great story can’t be told without dialogue. So incorporate dialogue, as necessary, as if it’s a natural part of your story.

Avoid sounding too clinical. Avoid passive constructions.

You have to garner enough interest to keep the reader engaged in your story.

Remember anyone can tell a story, but not everyone can tell a story that captures an audience.

Hope it helps!
