hello, Key Difference between DBMS and RDBMS: The key difference is thatRDBMS (relational databasemanagement system) applications store data in a tabular form, whileDBMS applications store data as files. ... There can be, but there will be no “relation” between the tables, like in aRDBMS.

Sample note on difference between DBMS vs RDBMS:

(i) DBMS stands for Database Management System, RDBMS stands for Relational Database Management System.

(ii) In DBMS, data is stored as a file. In RDBMS, Data is stored in a tabular form.

(iii) In DBMS, Normalization is not present. In RDBMS, Normalization is present in order to check the database table consistency.

(iv) DBMS does not support distributed database. RDBMS supports distributed database.

(v) DBMS does not support client server architecture. RDBMS supports client server architecture.

(vi) DBMS supports single user only. RDBMS supports multiple users.

(vii) In DBMS, there is no security of data. RDBMS provides Integrity constraints for the ACID property and is more secure.
