Answer :-

Given :-

  • Radius of cylinder = 7 cm
  • Total surface area = 968 cm²

To Find :-

  • Height of cylinder

Solution :-

We know that,

TSA of cylinder = 2πr ( r + h )

Substituting the value in formula -

➩ 968 = 2 × 22/7 × 7 ( 7 + h )

➩ 968 = 44 ( 7 + h )

➩ h + 7 = 968/44

➩ h + 7 = 22

➩ h = 22 - 7

➩ h = 15

Height of cylinder = 15 cm

Given :-

  • Radius of cylinder = 7 cm
  • Total surface area = 968 cm²

To find :-

  • Height of cylender

Solution :-

We know that

  • TSA of cylender = 2πr (r + h)

Substituting the value in formula :

→ 968 = 2 × 22/7 × 7 (7 + h)

→ 968 = 44 (7 + h)

→ h + 7 = 968/44

→ h + 7 = 22

→ h = 22 - 7

→ h = 15 cm

Hence,

  • Height of cylinder is 15 cm
