h = 20m

Power = 1Mw or 1000000 Joules

mgh = 1000000

m×10×20 = 1000000

m = 1000000/200

m = 10000/2

m = 5000 Kg

Answer:

(A) 5000 kg

Explanation:

Power = P = 1MW = 1000000W  (Given)

Height of water dam = h = 20m  (Given)

g = 10  m/s² (Given)

Time = t= 1s  (Given)

According to the equation -

P=W/t

W = mgh

= m×10×20

W= 200m

Thus,

1000000 = 200/1

m = 1000000/200

M = 5000

Therefore, 5000kgs of water should fall.
