Let the package lands at x distance (in m) away from the helicopter. Then in the horizontal motion, by second kinematic equation,

\longrightarrow\sf{x=25\cos 36.9^{\circ}t}

\longrightarrow\sf{x=20t\quad\quad\dots (1)}

But, in the vertical motion, by second kinematic equation,

\longrightarrow\sf{100=-25\sin36.9^{\circ}t+\dfrac {1}{2}gt^2}

\longrightarrow\sf{t^2-3t-20=0}

\longrightarrow\sf{t=6.3\ s}

Then (1) becomes,

\longrightarrow\sf{\underline {\underline {x=126\ m}}}
