Hello all ¡! ☺ ________________________
Find the solubility of KNO3 at 20 degress C when the mass of the empty dish is 50 g ,the mass of the dish and solution is 65 g,while the mass of dish and residue is 54.3 g ..............

show it plzz how it came.............................................ANS=40.18 g

mass of solution=65-50=15g
mass of residue=54.3-50=4.3g

solublity=(mass of residue/mass of solution-mass of residue)×100g=4.3×100/(15-4.3)=430/11.7=4300/117=36.7g

It is not 40.18g

futureflame43: sorry
futureflame43: solublity=4.3×100/10.7=40.18
futureflame43: my mistake

Mass if empty dish =50g
Mass of dish and solution =65g
Mass of dish and residue =54.3g

Mass of dish and solution - Mass of empty dish =Mass of solution.

=65-50=15

Solution =15g

Mass of dish and residue - Mass of dish = Mass of solute.

=54.3 - 50 = 4.3(solute)
Solution - Solute =Solvent
=15 - 4.3 = 10.7(solvent)
Solubility = mass of solute /mass of solvent *100

=40.18...answer.

divjot9648: what r u not able to understand
divjot9648: yes i have solved
divjot9648: in your book only 2digits r given after decimal because only 2digits r often written not more than 2
divjot9648: do u got my point
divjot9648: if u still have problem u can ask
