Hello Brainliacs!

Prove that measure of each angle of an equilateral triangle is 60°
Need full explanation.
No Spamming.
You may also attach a equilateral triangle figure to make it more understanding.

Let ABC be an equilateral triangle.

So, AB=BC=AC

NOW, If AB=AC

then angle B = angle C(Angles opposite to equal sides are equal)

If AC=BC

SO, angle B= angle A(Angles opposite to equal sides are equal)

From this we get,

Angle A= Angle B=Angle C

Now, let the three angles be x.

so, x + x + x=180 degree(sum of angles of a triangle is 180 degree)

3x=180 degree

x=60 degree

Hence proved.

We know that,

Sum of all the angles of a triangle is 180°...And

Also we know that an equilateral triangle has all its sides and angles equal...

Now,

x°+x°+x°= 180°

3x°=180°

x°=60°

So, it is concluded that each angle of equilateral triangle is 60°...
