resistivity will be same whereas new resistance of 2nd material will be less and will be 1/4th of 1st material

so, R1/R2 = (r2)²/(r1)² = (2²/1²) = 4/1
Finally, R1 /R2 = 4/1 OR, R1 = 4(R2)
