\bold{Hello}

Q.9) => This is an easy question. We have to take out acceleration and we know that acceleration is equal to => F/m .

Here , m is the total mass , m = m1 + m2

m1 = 5 Kg
m2 = 10Kg

total mass = 15 Kg .

Now force will be = ( m2 - m1)*g

→ Acceleration = F/m

\bold{\frac{(m2-m1)g}{(m1+m2)}}

→ (10-5)g / ( 5 + 10)

Acceleration :-» g/3 .

Q.10) => Given in the question :-

» Mass of cylinder = 10 Kg
» velocity ( initial ) = 10 m/sec
» coefficient of friction = 0.5

→ Kinetic energy of cylinder :

→ 1/2 mv^2 => 500

Work done by cylinder = force*distance.

\bold{\mu mg * s = Work done}

→ 0.5 * 10 * 10 * s = 500

→ 50 s = 500

Distance = 10 m

Hope It Helps You. ^_^
