Initial velocity = 3î + 4j
Acceleration = 0.4î + 0.3j
time = 10 sec
We can apply [v = u +at]
v = ( 3i + 4j) + (0.4 i + 0.3j )(10)
v =( 3i + 4j) + (4i + 3j)
v = 7i + 7j
To find magnitude we square both the velocities in i (cap) and j (cap) and take their root.
|v| = √(7² + 7²)
=> √(49 + 49)
=> √98
= > 7√2 units Answer
