My question is from my brother's assignment_plz answer with reason_

If a plant had roots that could rot very easily in water, which type of soil might help it to grow well ?

Most plants won't survive root rot, but you may be able to save the plant during the early progression of the disease. Repotting the plant into barely moist, sterile potting soil reduces moisture in the pot and prevents further fungal attacks on the root system.

there are so many types of soil which can help in growth but main soil is black soil. It provides nutrition to plant.
