Answer:

30cm,45cmand 60cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter of a triangle is 135 cm.

Its three sides are x, 1.5x and 2x.

So we have x+1.5x+2x =4.5x = 135 or

x = 135/4.5 = 30

So the sides are 30 cm, 45 cm and 60 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

The three sides of a triangle are in the ratio 1:1.5:2. The greatest side is 8 cm .

To find :-

Find the other two sides ?

Solution :-

Given that

The ratio of the three sides of a triangle = 1:1.5:2

Let they be X cm , 1.5 cm and 2X cm

The three sides of the triangle are X cm , 1.5 cm and 2X cm

Among all 2X cm is the longest side

According to the given problem

The greatest side = 8 cm

=> 2X = 8

=> X = 8/2

=> X = 4 cm

And

1.5X

= 1.5×4

= 6.0 cm

= 6 cm

The lengths of the sides X cm = 4 cm

1.5 X cm = 6 cm

Answer:-

The other two sides of the given trianagle are

4 cm and 6 cm

Points to know :-

  • A simple closed figure bounded by three linesegments is called a triangle

  • The sum of all sides is called its perimeter.
