Hello everyone please help me the length of a rectangle a hall is three times its breath is the Perimeter of the hall is 48 m find its length and breath

let the breadth be x then length will be 3x

so perimeter = 2(l+B)
48 = 2*4x
x= 6
so length = 18m and breadth = 6m

Perimeter = 2 × ( l + b )

48 = 2× ( 3x + x )

24 = 4x

x = 6

Breadth is 6m

length is 3x = 18m
