■PROCESS OF CALVIN CYCLE
The Calvin cycle has these steps :
1.REDUCTION phase
》》The enzyme glyceraldehyde 3- phosphate dehydrogenase catalyzes reduction of 1 , 3BPGA by NADPH .
2.CARBOHYDRATE formation
》》CO2 is reacted to produce G3P . The enzyme RuBisCo catalyzes the Carboxylation of a 5 - Carbon compound to make 6 - Carbon compound that split into half compound 3- PGA molecules. The enzyme phosphoglycerate Kinase catalyzes phosphorylation of 3- PGA to form 1 , 3- BPGA .
3.REGENERATION Phase ( RuBP)
》》At the end of the regeneration the net gain of the set of reactions is one G3P molecule per 3 carbondioxide molecule.
◇Energy to fuel chemical reactions in thus sugar generating process is provided by ATP and NADPH , chemical compounds which contain the energy plants have captured from sunlight .

◇The CALVIN CYCLE is the cycle of the chemical reactions performed by plants to FIX CARBON from CO2 into three - carbon sugars .
◇Plants and animals can turn these three - carbon compounds into amino acids , nucleotides and more complex sugar such as starches.
◇The Calvin cycle is also sometimes referred to as the LIGHT INDEPENDENT reactions of photosynthesis , since it is not directly powered by photons from the sun . Instead , It is powered by ATP AND NADPH
