Sir:
I read in your reputed daily an article on Save Tigers and was greatly impressed by it. Your newspaper does great service by bringing such issues to fore. The tiger population depletion at an alarming rate is a real concern. According to a recent survey, one tiger is being poached every day. If the present state of affairs is allowed to continue, the next generation will not get to see the majestic animal even in the zoo.
Though the Government has started various projects to save tigers. People, the Government, and the Save Tiger Activists further need to act concertedly to ensure tiger population further proliferate and prosper. I appeal to all the people to shoulder this responsibility of saving tigers and other endangered species. Kindly give my views some space in your esteemed daily. Thanking you.
