Height of pole/length of shadow =tan(angle of elevation)
Let the angle of elevation be a

Angle of elevation is equal in all the poles.

In first pole 560cm high casts shadow 320cm long
560/320=tan a
7/4 =tan a

i) In second pole 1050cm high casts shadow of x cm long
1050/x=tan a
since tan a =7/4
1050/x=7/4
x=1050×4/7
x=600cm=6m

ii) In third pole of height y cm and casts shadow 500cm long
y/500=7/4
y=7/4×500
y=875 cm=8.75m
