Hi there,

Friction Is Defined as the Relative Force which acts between the Two bodies and Opposes the movement over each other.

Because of friction we can able to Walk, pull or push any object we want.

It led to Worn of Shoes , machinery equipments hence,we use lubricants to reduce frictions.

There are four types of friction:

static, sliding, rolling, and fluid friction. Static, sliding, and rolling friction occur between solid surfaces. Static friction is strongest, followed by sliding friction, and then rolling friction, which is weakest. Fluid friction occurs in fluids, which are liquids or gases.

Hope it has Help !

Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other. There are several types of friction: Dry friction is a force that opposes the relative lateral motion of two solid surfaces in contact.
