Padmavat… one of the most remarkable movies I have ever seen!
The movie had a very deep impact on me and the story not only made me proud of our Indian (specially Rajputana) culture but also on the women in our society.
A brief review of the movie and some of the lessons I learned!
- Love is beautiful, just the right person is required!
- Trust people who have some morals in life, backstabbing is more common these days.
- Women are very powerful, and they have a lot of hidden strength which comes out in difficult times.
- I deeply admire the strength of the women of our society back then, who committed Johar (the act of burning themselves in fire, after their husband dies in the battle), the idea behind was of killing oneself rather than being slaves of others and losing their self respect as well as their dignity and pride.
