Cyber bullying means harrasing, embarrassing or threatening a individual (especially teenager) in social networks such as facebook, instagram, twitter, etc.
It is illegal and considered a crime.
The victims of Cyberbullying can suffer from long time severe depression, anxiety and have high risk of sucidial thoughts and attempts.
To help a victim of Cyberbullying, the following measures should be undertaken:
•Take help: If you are victim
of cyber bullying, they never try to handle the problem all by yourself (no matter how embarrassing it is) as it can worsen the situation.
you can discuss the matter with your family,friends or any adult person whom you can rely upon.
Later, block the bully from email, messages, etc. If the matter is serious then inform the cyber police.
•Limit access to technology: Limit your usage of mobile phones, laptops, etc. Understand the importance of privacy and spend some time in meditation for mental peace.
