POLARISATION:-

▪The phenomenon of restricting the vibrating of light in a particular direction perpendicular to the direction of propagation of wave is called polarisation of light.

▫In the polarized light,the vibration of the electric vector occur in a plane perpendicular to the direction of propagation of light and are confined to a single direction in the plane.

▪After polarization,the vibration become a symmetrical about the direction of propagation of light.

3. BY DICHROISM
4. BY SCATTERING
