We obtain many products,like coke, coaltar, coalgas.

Coke - It is a hard and porous substance.It's main uses are :

• Used in domestic Wells as well as an industrial fuel in stoves.
• Used for extraction of metals.
• Used for making fuel gases.

Coal Tar : It is a black coloured viscous liquid.It is used in manufacture of :

• Synthetic dyes
• Drugs
• Explosives
• Perfumes
• Paints
• Photographic material
• Roofing Material

Coal Gas : It is an inflammable gas.It is used as :

• Domestic fuel
• Industrial fuel
