Because humans have free will. It’s been my experience that you usually cannot have a bad thing without a good thing, and vice versa. Beautiful and ugly, pain and pleasure, right and wrong- while there are general agreements as to what each is, there are many who would argue those consensuses; even believing general accepted meanings of each are reversed to them. You can change the world by learning and accepting yourself. Then work and affect your circle of people- family, friends, acquaintances, ONE you interact with. Easier said then done, I know. One thing life has taught me is that you cannot understand the meaning of happiness and pleasure without knowing what sadness and pain feel like. How you let any of it affect you is up to you. While you may not have any money or support, you have power over how you react and deal with anything or anyone, in my opinion. Accept & deal with whatever you can, and all the rest you have no control over, simply let them go. Yeah, easier said then done, I understand. All you can do is try. When you fall, find a way to get up.
