All this makes you wonder that something so powerful and with such a massive reach cannot be all good. Like how there are always two sides to a coin, the same goes for social media. Subsequently, different people have different opinions on this debatable topic. So, in this essay on Social Media, we will see the advantages and disadvantages of social media.

Bane: Social media is a bane cause it decreases face to face communication.

Boon: We can share information/ideas with people even if they live many miles away.

Boon: We can contact parents easily if we are kidnapped/lost.

Bane: These days people compare their social media profiles with others like comparing their lives.

Boon: We can contact our teacher for doubts anytime without any problem.

Bane: These days accounts are being hacked and people are using other person's personal information.

Boon: If we use it properly we can improve our reading skills, writing skills , communication etc

Bane: It is very dangerous due to sexting , cyberbullying etc.

Boon: If you post your content on social media people share it with others this leads to popularity for you.

Bane: Students studies are disturbed due to social media addiction.
