What is the difference between angular velocity and angular acceleration? This was answered for a different question. If a rigid body rotates by an angle of π radians in T seconds then its angular velocity is ( radians per second. Angluar Acceleration is the rate of change of angular velocity.

ANSWER

⚫ Angular Velocity .

▪️ It is defined has the ratio angular displacement of the body to the time taken.

◾Angular Velocity =
Angular Displacement /
Time Taken.

◾The SI unit of Angular velocity is radian/second.

◾ Angular Velocity is positive for anti clock wise direction of body.

◾Angular Velocity is negative for anti clock wise rotation of body.

⚫ Angular Acceleration

◾ It Defined as the ratio of the change in angular velocity of the body and time taken.

◾Angular Acceleration =
Change in angular velocity/ Time.

◾The SI Unit of Angular Acceleration is rad/s^2.

◾Angular Acceleration is positive for anti clockwise rotation of body.

◾Angular Acceleration is negative for clockwise rotation of body.
