But we have to think more here .

Look at the question carefully.

it says Adam has a mother- mothers usually don't get to have a say in naming ALL the children. Hence, we cannot say for sure that the mother has named the three children.

Now look at the question again

It says the first child was named April. But why wasn't it named January or February or March? There must be a striking coincidence here. There are three months before April and also 3 children. This problem is turning out to be harder than ever. I will have to use all my acquired detective skills.

Now, since Adam’s mother has theee children, we get a variety of mind boggling questions such as:

how can we be sure that the three children had one father? What if the second and third child are not humans? What about the genders of these children?

Therefore, we cannot say for sure the name of the third child.
