Hello, I need some help....

∆ Can somebody please explain me why have they taken
$17 + (p + q) = 18 \: or \: 27$
???

∆ Why haven't they taken any other multiple of 9???

∆ Is it necessary to take these two numbers only??

Answer:

in the equation 3+4+2+2 and so on ,if we add them we get 17+(p+q)

in the same equation after = here we have taken 18 or 27 because it is a multiple of 9
