A square has 4 sides.

“Counting every corner Thrice and no more!”

Implies we go around the square thrice, i.e. 12 times.

“Add the count to me to get exactly thirty-four!”

That is when 12 is added to a number

Let us assume the number as y, we get 34.

12 + y = 34

y = 34 – 12 = 22

So, 22 is the number.

ii)If 23 is the number for Sunday,

Then counting up,

Saturday is 22, Friday is 21, Thursday is 20, Wednesday is 19, Tuesday is 18, Monday is

17 and Sunday is 16.

Therefore, the number considered is 16.

iii)Let the number be x.

If we take away 6 from x, we get a cricket team. [A cricket team has 11 players].

x – 6 = 11

x = 11 + 6 = 17

The special number is 17.

iv)Let the number be x.

22 – x = x

22 = x + x = 2x

x =22/2

  = 11

The number is 11.

hello brother!!!!

it's khushi...

These are some of the most interesting and minded questions, your answer is just below ....

(i) Let I be denote with x,

as we know , a square has 4 corners
according to question...
we have to count every corner thrice time so..
=> 3 × no. of corners

=> 3×4
=> 12
Now according to above given condition.

x + 12 = 34
x = 34 - 12
x = 22

so in the first question I m '22'..
because 12 + 22 = 34...

(ii) Let I be denoted with x

according to given conditions :-
as we know, there are 7 days in a week

now, start counting from x for 7, we have

x + 7 = 23
x = 23 - 7
x = 16
thus, I m '16'.

(iii) let I be y now which is a special number,
according to conditions ,
take away 6 from y.

y- 6 = 11 ( because there are 11 players in a cricket team )
y = 11 + 6
y = 17

Thus 'I' is 17.

(iv) Let I be x now...

according to the given conditions..
x Out of 22 can be written as 22 - x
so,
22 - x = x
22 =x+x
22 = 2x
11 = x

Thus , here I is 11...

hope this helps you!!!!

ABHAYSTAR: It's clearly mentioned that i am a special number , let the number be x and take away from me a six , so , x-6 then a whole cricket team so , expression will be x-6 = 11 , x = 11+6 = 17 hence 17 is the special number
