hello, i want to know that there is no angular moment or circular motion is considered in simple harmonic motion then why omega(angular velocity) is taken in formula of simple harmonic motion.

formula: x(t)=Xm cos(wt+phi)

Xm=extreme position

w=angular velocity

phi=angle
can any one briefly explain or give me notes or videos about article

her w represents the angular frequency...

every wave in a shm has some frequency...... and w is angular frequency...
