A full stop is the punctuation mark . which you use at the end of a sentence when it is not a question or exclamation.

Generally we use it to describe three things namely;

• To end the sentence.

Whenever we end any sentence or whenever we start a new sentence. We use full stop after the end of each sentence.

Ex :- Ram eats mango.

(here I use full stop (.) at the end of sentence. Means this sentence is finished.)

• To punctuate number and dates.

Ex :- 01.0.1.2001

• We use full stop to indicate abbreviations.
