The equation of a straight line in the form y − y1 = m(x − x1) where m is the slope of the line and (x1, y1) are the coordinates of a given point on the line — compare slope-intercept form.
m is slope.
• The slope of X-axis and of any line parallel to X-axis is zero.
• The slope of y axis and of any line parallel to y-axis cannot be determined.
When angle is given and to find slope
Formula :-
m = tan theta
