I feel every student should learn atleast one foreign language before graduation.
From interview perspective:
(My experience during off campus)
In one of the off campus interview, after clearing aptitude round(there was nearly 700 students), before moving to next round interviewer came and asked the crowd whether anyone knows any foreign language. Only 10 people stand among the crowd and they had different sets of round.
So it is also a key measure to make you different from other students during your campus interview.
From Career perspective:
If you are working for any foreign clients and if you know their native language, you have a higher possibility of getting on-site opportunities(if you are technically skilled as well).
You can also work as a translator for a company or as a freelancer. Working as translator, you will get paid for hours or per page and it is also stress free.
From own perspective:
While learning a foreign language, you are not only learning their own language, you are also learning their culture and about people as well which will make you more interested in language. This will also lead to make you learn more language and about people.
So choose wisely on which foreign language is in high demand and based on what your interested & keep learning.

Hope it help.
