Q2 $R_{eq} = 0.4+0.4+0.4=1.2$ ohm

Q4 Let two resistances, A and B be 'x' and 'y' respectively.

R(series)= $x+y$

R(parallel)= $\frac{xy}{x+y}$

Clearly, parallel combination has less equivalence than series resistance.

Q5 (i) R= 20Ω  (ii) R'= $\frac{10.1000}{10+1000}$= 9.9Ω {R>R'}

Q6 (i) R= 6+4 = 10Ω  (ii) (4*4)/(4+4)= 2Ω.
