Explanation:-

Let complete this passage.

Photosynthesis involves light reaction and dark reaction.

During light reaction the chlorophyll present in the Leaves (chloroplast) gates activated by absorbed light energy.

The energy splits water Molecules to hydrogen ion and oxygen and releases two electrons.

This process is called photolysis /hydrolysis.

The hydrogen ion are picked up by NADP to form NADPH

The ADP converted in to ATP.

This process is called Photophosphorylation.

During the dark phase the compound present at the end of light reaction react with carbon dioxide to form Glucose.

This product is converted in to starch.

The process is known as Polymerisation.
