hey dear here is ur answer

The French Revolution was a watershed event in modern European history that began in 1789 and ended in the late 1790s with the ascent of Napoleon Bonaparte. During this period, French citizens razed and redesigned their country’s political landscape, uprooting centuries-old institutions such as absolute monarchy and the feudal system. The upheaval was caused by widespread discontent with the French monarchy and the poor economic policies of King Louis XVI, who met his death by guillotine, as did his wife Marie Antoinette. Although it failed to achieve all of its goals and at times degenerated into a chaotic bloodbath, the French Revolution played a critical role in shaping modern nations by showing the world the power inherent in the will of the people.

Hello,

French Revolution is considered as one of the most famous and important revolutions of the world as it gave the idea of liberty to the world.

The french revolution started on 14 th July 1789 after a mob of people demolished the bastille prison which stood for the despotic power of the king Louis 16.

The king was very extravagant and spent money lavishly .the king didn't take care of his public .

Moreover the entire society was suffering from feudal system.

The society was divided into clergy, nobel and third estate.

the nobles and the clergy had birthright. But the third estate suffered a lot in the French society. they were not given basic facilities and were suppressed and tortured by the clergy and noble man.

The estate general meeting was also not imparting rights to the third estate as they lost every poll.

When the king refused to accept their wish of one man one vote

The crowd rushed out of the palace and formed a national assembly at the court of Versailles.

This national assembly drafted a constitution and limited the power of the king.

France now turned conditional monarchy.

The National Assembly then captured king and his wife on the charge of treason.

New constitution and rights are declared by nearly elected body called as convention.

The convention also passed the order for gullitioning the king and his wife as they went under secret negotiations with Prussia and Austria.

several political clubs were established during this time and one of the famous political club was Jacobian club. now the jacobin club came into power and its head was Maximilian Robespierre.

These have rise to the period of reign of terror as robespierre adopted policies which were very harsh and tough to follow and also he implemented various rationing practices which were very difficult for the people. he introduced equality bread and rationed the grains.

those who did not follow his policies were killed.

after the fall of jacobin government the rule of directory came to the power. this directory was not enough powerful to control the entire France.

hence the directory rule declined and after the fall of directory Napoleon Bonaparte, who was the military Dictator rose to the power and became the emperor of France. he reintroduced the process of slavery which was banned by the jacobin government.

soon after people thought that Napoleon was a warmonger instead of the liberator. so they captured Napoleon and Napoleon was sent for isolation where he died.

France became a complete Democratic Republic and the rights of people were restored.

This led to liberty of the entire crowd of France from all the malicious social practices.

The people now paid only one tax instead of the traditional tithes and taille.

Each citizen (men) above 21 yrs had right to vote.

So,

The entire French society underwent a drastic change which brought liberty and standard living to the people.

This was a brief sketch of French Revolution.

Hope this will be helping you ✌
