Hi there!
Depression is the opposite of Happiness.
When our Life Energies are low, we are in Depression. Technically speaking, it depends upon your symptoms and the time interval.
That's not required for giving help to anyone like you. you really need to talk about this.
I believe I am a professional and you can safely talk about this expecting this to go away by me.
Causes of Depression can be many , including biological, environmental, situational. But given the body and situation are healthy enough, which they mostly are ,The Self need to be empowered.
I believe almost no attention and energy is invested in learning and teaching about how to lead a ever constant fulfilling life. That's why so so many suffer in today's world. IN is the WAY OUT!
Depression did hit us as back as 4000years ago but naming a person is difficult. Maybe it's RAVAN! (hehe)
First of all, Find your Loved Ones or Pet and Hug them hard for a minute or two.
Now, try OPPOSITION THINKING for a day.
Here it goes:
You MUST be the BODY-GUARD of your THOUGHTS.
You must not allow even ONE thought, which is NEGATIVE to enter your Awareness.
I repeat, You MUST not ALLOW even One NEGATIVE Thought to enter your Awareness.
This is because your Mind is like a DELICATE BABY. It needs protection. The more it is protected, the stronger it will get.
EVERYTIME a Negative Thought is about to enter your Awareness, replace it INSTANTANEOUSLY with a Positive one.
You WILL get out Depression. You need to keep doing it as long as you have Thoughts and a MIND.
but practice for a Day.
You will Fail in this ,one Ina while because it might get difficult once in a while.
But if you have unbroken belief, you will quickly reach out of it. This is a Life Changing technique. savor it!
Hope it make sense!

Many people know of depression from experiencing it themselves or seeing struggle with lethargy, trouble concentrating, and chronic fatigue. It’s this low mood over a long period of time most people identify as depression. Persistent depressive disorder is the professional label and generally includes changes in sleep habits.
depression comes in many forms and displays a wide range of symptoms depending on the type, the duration, severity, and the precipitating cause.
1895, the German psychiatrist Emil Kraepelin became the first to distinguish manic depression.
Anxiety may be caused by a mental condition, a physical condition, the effects of drugs, or a combination of these.
These common external factors can cause anxiety:
*Stress at work
*Stress from school
*Stress in a personal relationship such as marriage
*Financial stress
*Stress from an emotional trauma such as the death of a loved one.
These tips can help you feel better -- starting right now.
1. Get in a routine.
2.Make your goal something that you can succeed at, like doing the dishes every other day.
3.Regular exercise seems to encourage the brain to rewire itself in positive ways.
4.If depression tends to make you overeat, getting in control of your eating will help you feel better.
5.Depression can make it hard to get enough shut-eye, and too little sleep can make depression worse.
hope it's help you.
