Proof:

Since AB = AD = BD

         /_ 1 = /_ 3 = /_ 4

Now

BC is the largest side, the angle Opp to it is /_ BAC

/_ BAC = /_ 1 + /_ 2

/_ BAC =  60^ + /_ 2

since 60^ = 2/3 (90^)

/_ BAC = 2/3(90^)+/_2

=> /_ BAC >2/3(90^)

                                        HENCE PROVED

Therefore in a triangle, other than an equilateral triangle, the angle opposite to the longest side is greater than (2/3)rd of a right angle.
